In this artwork you will receive a museum-grade giclée print on Hahnemühle Pearl (285 gsm) – a premium fine art paper chosen for its natural depth, tonal accuracy, and archival quality. This print is part of an open edition and remains unsigned.
- Print type: Giclée
- Paper type: Hahnemühle Pearl
- Finish: Pearl / Satin
- Tone: Natural White
- Texture: Fine Orange Peel
The paper has a bright neutral white base and a subtle orange-peel texture that enhances both black-and-white and color imagery. Its satin-resin coating gives depth and soft reflectivity, creating rich tonal separation and vibrant color reproduction. The result is a natural yet painterly image quality, reminiscent of traditional darkroom prints.
Each print is produced in a fully color-managed workflow using the paper-specific ICC profile for absolute tonal precision and faithful reproduction.
The paper is acid-free, archival, and resin-coated, ensuring longevity and resistance to fading over decades.
We recommend careful handling of the print, as Hahnemühle Pearl’s delicate surface responds best to minimal contact.
If you select the framed edition (available only in 70 × 100 cm), your artwork will arrive professionally mounted in a black Nielsen Quadrum solid wood frame, handcrafted in Germany from FSC®-certified timber and fitted with 3 mm clear acrylic glazing for protection.
Creator’s Note & Vision

Shadows of the Medina is presented as a museum-grade giclée print on Hahnemühle Pearl (285 gsm) – a premium archival paper with a bright neutral white base, fine orange-peel texture, and subtle satin finish that enhances tonal depth and natural detail. The smooth yet fibrous surface gives each image a refined depth and painterly presence, perfectly suited to nuanced black-and-white photography.
This consciously dark composition captures a fleeting moment of intimacy in a narrow alleyway – a mother and child moving through shadow and silence, framed by centuries of stone. It is more than a document: it is meant to evoke stillness, depth, and quiet strength.
As part of the Dustlight Archive, my vision is to preserve such atmospheres and share them as lasting works of art. Each print carries memory and emotion beyond the surface – crafted to bring a moment of calm presence into your space.
